**Overview of the SDE Team**

The Supplier Development Engineering (SDE) team is instrumental in shaping the future of automotive manufacturing. Our expertise encompasses all production processes and supplier development strategies, from contract negotiations and purchasing to design improvements for enhanced manufacturing, quality control, and delivery management. We collaborate closely with engineering teams as well as external suppliers and partners to ensure that products are manufactured with the highest quality and delivered on time to meet the increasing demands of our business.

**Main Responsibilities**

• Work closely with European or German car manufacturers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Qualify new metrology equipment and conduct measurement system analysis to optimize performance and capability.
• Conduct correlation studies between upstream and downstream suppliers.
• Develop and execute quality control plans for specific components.
• Manage and resolve material quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective countermeasures.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

**Key Qualifications**

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in metrology, quality assurance, and/or manufacturing.
• Excellent English language skills, with precise and seamless communication within the team.
• Experience working with European or German car manufacturers and familiarity with quality processes, audits, and documentation requirements.
• Detailed knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T, GRR, and related specifications.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical inspection using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
• Able to analyze dimensional data using statistical tools and software, including JMP and Minitab.
• Experience in designing fixtures and gauges for mechanical manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering is preferred.
