At Manatal Co LTD, we are seeking a seasoned Platform Engineering Leader to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the technical strategy and execution of our platform infrastructure.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional with a strong background in software engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and infrastructure management. As a Platform Engineering Leader at Manatal Co LTD, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable multi-tenant platform that powers our global B2B SaaS solution.

About the Role

• Lead Technical Initiatives

You will lead and manage platform engineering initiatives, define and execute the technical roadmap for platform infrastructure, observability, and developer experience.

• Architect Scalable Solutions

You will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions, establish architectural guidelines and best practices for the platform, and ensure optimal performance and scalability across all regions.

• Own Platform Reliability and Operations

You will define and maintain SLOs/SLIs/SLAs for critical platform services, implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions, design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and lead incident response and post-mortem processes.

• Optimize Platform Performance and Costs

You will implement strategies to optimize infrastructure costs without compromising quality, monitor and improve platform performance metrics, and identify areas of technical debt and develop plans to address them.

• Ensure Security and Compliance

You will implement security best practices and maintain security posture, ensure compliance with SOC 2 and other relevant standards, and lead security audits and remediation efforts.

• Enable Developer Productivity

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align platform architecture with business goals, build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines, improve developer experience through tooling and automation, establish infrastructure as code practices, create and maintain technical documentation, and contribute to codebases as needed to drive projects forward.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise

You should have proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters and expertise in container orchestration, experience with observability tools, experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, experience in Database optimization and management, extensive knowledge of AWS services, demonstrated expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation, solid software engineering background with proficiency in Python, and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern JS frameworks.

• Leadership Skills

You should have at least 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure management, or related fields, excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive velocity, high accountability and responsibility, willingness to go the extra mile, and proven ability to balance technical debt with feature development.

• Soft Skills

You should be fluent in English, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work well in a team environment.
