Carolina Laikauf

I am Carolina Laikauf I am a 28-year-old with a strong background in motorsports. 

Recently, I made the move to Thailand and I am eager to continue my professional journey in this exciting new location. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the motorsports industry and have honed my skills in this field.

In my free time, I am an active and enthusiastic participant in sports and I enjoy immersing myself in the local culture. Additionally, I am passionate about giving back to my community and I often volunteer my time and resources to various causes.

I am also a language enthusiast and I am currently learning Chinese, with plans to start learning Thai in the near future. I believe that my passion for new experiences and my commitment to continuous learning make me an ideal candidate for any opportunity that comes my way.

I am confident that my diverse background and dynamic personality make me a valuable addition to any team. 

I am a data-driven professional with a strong background in motorsport, where I worked as a data engineer, race engineer, and mechanic for the past 5 years. During this time, I developed excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. In my previous role, I was responsible for managing a team of 4 to 6 people, which has given me the leadership skills required to effectively manage and prioritize tasks, and work efficiently with others.

In addition to my motorsport experience, I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Data Science and to become an  ACE certified Personal Trainer. I am confident that my education and certification will provide valuable insights and skills to this internship.

I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to Agoda and contribute to the growth and success of the company. I am confident that my passion for technology and my ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make me a valuable asset to your team.

I have a strong academic background in engineering, which has provided me with a solid foundation in problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical skills. However, I have always been interested in exploring the intersection of technology and data, which led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Data Science.

With this additional qualification, I have been able to expand my skill set and gain a deeper understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and other cutting-edge technologies. This has enabled me to apply my engineering knowledge in new and innovative ways and has opened up exciting new career opportunities for me.

I am now able to leverage my expertise in both engineering and data science to drive data-driven decision making and help organizations extract insights from large and complex datasets.
