Fabiana Silva

PE teacher, swimming and volleyball coach. I'm in the middle of my master's in education. My teaching practice is student-centered. I'm results-oriented, committed, responsible, a hard worker, organized, creative, and positive, and I love working in a team. Thinking and doing together we go further. I love teaching and coaching, and I'm glad when I can contribute to my students' best achievements.

I have more than 17 years of working with sports and more than 8 as a swimming teacher and coach. I love to see those small ones becoming stronger and mature enough to face competition. I'm detail-oriented and creative, and I try my best to prepare classes that motivate my students to become lifelong learners and practitioners. I love working to make them become a growth mindset, be positive, take advantage of all opportunities, and try their best to succeed in everything they are challenged. My work is to show their best for themselves.

In my last job at Chiang Mai International School, my students got a wonderful achievement becoming second place in a volleyball tournament where they usually were in the last position, in only a month and a half with daily practice. One of the projects I made in Brazil changed the sports club calendar, which that became a students' annual event.
