I offer a combination of unique skills and

 competencies which I have developed through a lengthy and rewarding educational and career path. I have honed the following fundamental skills: patience, critical thinking, communication, organization and time management  imaginative thinking, leadership and development, adaptation, teamwork and critical resolution, and compassion, to name a few. In my various previous roles I have contributed to organizational improvements, collaborative team efforts and attaining key business and educational targets. This ultimately led to personal self-growth. As an educator I am dedicated and every student is seen as an individual with potential growth. My aim is to tap into that potential and inspire the student to reach his or her highest growth. I am also able to provide advice and assist those with difficulties coming from a psychological background. I do particularly enjoy early years as I believe that, that is the root level and foundation for the future years. However, I am able to confidently teach and inspire all ages.

From 2008 I have owned retail businesses in South Africa and in France. I commenced teaching English as a foreign language in 2016 in Changzhi (Shaanzi province), China. I worked at a private school, tutoring centers and a Lego based school. This was one of the most amazing experiences, both culturally and as an educator. I then moved to Weihai, (Shangdong province), which was equally interesting. Here I worked for both  private and public schools. I then worked for a high school in Thailand, as well as a nursery and kindergarten. I also tutored students with learning difficulties. 

I am currently based in Banna, Nakhon Nayok where I am teaching Grade 7 and Grade 10. Although, the class sizes are large, with 40 students per class, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of educating them and getting to know each of their needs. My contract ends at the end of March and I am looking to move to school an area where I can be based long-term.

I hold a Masters Degree in Psychology and as mentioned have worked with children of all ages in the field of psychology and as a teacher of English as a foreign language.  Through my practice in psychological life coaching and logotherapy I developed a 12 week programme for young adults aged 12 to 18, and tailor-made programmes for 3 years and older. Please have a look at my Facebook group: growme1234. I also use my education to guide and assist children and adults that have difficulties in the learning experience and in their personal lives. This allows them to thrive in their schooling environment.

Prior to achieving a Masters Degree, I achieved a Postgraduate Honors Degree in Psychology, an Undergraduate Bachelors Degree  and I completed a course in logotherapy and HIV/AIDS care and counselling.  I am also a qualified Acudetoxicification therapist. While achieving my education I worked  in a university environment.
