- Credit Management: Process all credit applications from customers and agencies; ensure credit limits are reviewed and updated on a quarterly basis.
- Reporting: Facilitate monthly credit meetings and ensure minutes are prepared and approved promptly.
- Billing & Collections: Ensure all invoices are issued on time and that all accounts receivable remain collectible.
- Contract Administration: Manage all shop contracts, rental statements, and barter agreements.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Ensure that incorrect vouchers, missing vouchers, "skip" cases (guests who leave without paying), and all rebates are finalized in a timely manner.
- Ledger Accuracy: Verify that all guest ledger transfers from the Front Office reflect accurate figures with complete supporting documentation.
- Commission Management: Ensure that commissions are calculated accurately and paid by their respective due dates.
- Reconciliations: Prepare all related account reconciliations, including accounts receivable and deposits, on a monthly basis.
- General Ledger Alignment: Ensure the Accounts Receivable aging report reconciles perfectly with the General Ledger.
- Education: Degree or Certification in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the hotel industry or a related financial position.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hotel finance operations, including credit card processing and local/overseas agency transactions.
