  • Summary
  • Responsible for all facets of retail store operation. The Manager manages the retail store consistent with the short and long term interests of the company and its employees. He/she will consistently provide our customers with the highest level of service possible and assist the Brand / Retail Manager in achieving budgeted revenue goals and monitoring expenses.

  • Support Brand / Retail Manager on managerial and operational aspects of the store.
  • Support Brand / Retail Manager in setting up operational procedures, staff training, customer service & staff general welfare.
  • To develop and maintain efficient inventory management and integrity.
  • Support the CRM and increase existing base of VIP customers.
  • To be an ambassador for the represented BRAND and portray at all times a professional and customer oriented image.
  • To be a role model to all staff in work performance, customer service and other relevant scope of duties.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operations

  • Ensure smooth operations and support Brand / Retail Manager for all daily tasks for all stores.
  • To support in collating data for all reports pertaining to sales, customer service, accounts, logistics.
a) Daily and Weekly Sales / Incentives Report
- b) Customer Analysis, Foot Flow Reports
- c) To oversee the roster management during absence of Managers
- d) Staff commission/ incentive Reports
- e) AD Hoc Reports supporting after sales service/ marketing
- f) Provide and support RM data for all reports to Valiram and Coach
- h) To provide information for store Promotion reports / Adhoc Reporting pertaining to Sales, Sell-In, Sell thru etc.
- i)Ensure display is in according to Visual Merchandising guidelines and in
- top visibility. Complete monthly Photoshare reportSales
  • Ensure that monthly sales targets are achieved for the store.
  • To execute sales strategies and action plans implemented by the Store/Brand Manager.
  • To suggest and implement strategies for Slow Moving Goods/ Deleted products.
  • Maintain a tight control on discounting and giveaways/ discontinued products.
  • Ensure that general costs and expenses are kept low.
  • Ensure all monies are banked as per operations procedure.
  • Monitors sales through the cash register; resolves discrepancies, prepares, reconciles, and records cash receipts for deposit, and prepares sales reports.
Customer Service- To provide exemplary customer services ensuring high standards of performance in service excellence.

  • To ensure customers' complaints are handled tactfully in a professional manner with proper follow up.
  • Uphold the company's image as a prestigious and luxurious brand at all times.
  • To support the basics for After Sales Service.
  • To support, increase and update the customer database. Database must be kept current.
Grooming- To be presentable and well groomed at all times

  • To have and maintain at all times competent product knowledge thru regular training for staff.
  • Quality leadership skills to lead the staff to perform to their fullest potential.
  • To posses effective communication skills and team spirit between retail staff and management.
  • Build and maintain good rapport with staff and customers.
  • Possess general IT skills, constantly upgrading, guiding retail staff on Store operating systems.
  • Staff to conduct themselves in a proper and professional manner in
compliance with VG Company Policies.

  • Working Conditions & Physical Effort
  • Work is normally performed in a typical retail outlet work environment.
  • Required to work retail operation hours according to scheduled shift.
  • Moderate physical activity. May require handling of averageweight objects up to 20 kg or standing and/or walking for more than eight (8) hours per day.
