All about the role:
This is an Electrolux Manufacturing System Manager APAC&MEA role.
The EMS Lead APAC MEA is a key position for the Business Area perspectives and plans and will provide strategic direction for all EMS - Electrolux Manufacturing Systems - Electrolux Lean Manufacturing Approach and all tools available for it.
The position is responsible for driving and support all APAC MEA Manufacturing Plants and Logistics activities for in the specific Region to implementing lean manufacturing principles (EMS/EPS) and through implementing a continuous improvement process also contributing to the development of new lean manufacturing tools.
The ambition is to enable all individuals in the Manufacturing Plants and Logistics areas to contribute to improve Manufacturing and Logistics processes.
In this role your mission regarding EMS will be to bring the EMS Culture to be a living day by day process where team members and leaders will be engaged in the EMS Way, supporting site certification and performance assessment assuring the principles of Stability, Process Improvement and Culture Change to be implemented in key activities of NA Operations.
What you'll do:
- Lead the EMS/EPS deployment across factories and logistics areas in the Region enabling the implementation of lean tools and standards to achieve the objectives for quality, safety, cost, deliveries and environmental sustainability.
- Track the status of implementation of EMS/EPS in the Region.
- Ensure all EMS training and improvement activities are according to the globally defined standards.
- Ensure training for EMS Change Agents and Sponsors within the Region.
- Ensure that the lean certification processes are adhered to standards and targets.
- Promote lean manufacturing best practice sharing across operations including benchmarking with other companies in the field of lean manufacturing.
- Drive EMS into other areas outside of industrial operations when requested.
- EMS point of contact for external organizations.

- Codrive the EMS Cultural Change motivating and empowering all employees.
- Promote EMS Cultural change by coordinating activities for People Development and Leadership
- Assure APAC MEA manufacturing Operations Stability for Plants and Logistics areas by support developing activities and process related to Safety, EMS Key Performance Indicators Monitoring as well as driving EMS Stability basics such as 5S, 7 Wastes, Standardized Work, Visual Factory, Problem Solving
- Develop and implement the culture of Continuous Improvement for Plants and Logistics by cross functionally driving activities such as Quality and Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Material Handling process including Plan for Every Part and ultimately focused on Manufacturing
- Process with Line Balance, SMED and Productive Maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in Process Engineering, R&D, Product Quality, Manufacturing Engineering or related areas with at least 3 years of this experience in a senior level role
- Knowledge and Skills in the areas of Lean manufacturing (EMS/EPS), Work measurement and work analysis, Safety management, Environmental management
- A hardworking, highenergy attitude and motivation, along with high sense of urgency with the ability to make and implement tough and timely decisions.
- Strong business acumen with understanding of financial principles and cost analysis basics.
- An analytic, strategic, and tactical thinker, who can develop strategies, programs and processes that support the short
- Autonomous time and priority management skills, to properly and effectively balance long term transformation plans and daily matters management.
- Must be able to organize teams and align management to achieve results; should be passionate, competitive, and able to inspire teams to high levels of performance.
- Visible passion for the business and capability to motivate and have a broad sphere of influence on the overall organization, along with proven ability to gain the required consensus and remove roadblocks, to quickly deliver results.
