Job Scope:
As the HRBP you will partner with Leaders in Hair Care and Skin Care spearheading the people agenda anchored on the B&W SEA & Thailand business strategy and BG and BU HR strategy where our people feel valued, add value, and get value.
This role will also partner a function across BU (e.g. CSP/R&D) and some key people agenda (e.g. Capability/way of working/ well-being etc.) across BU. The role currently has R&D HR Partner role reporting into the role (This will be flexible in the future based on profile and experience of talent into the role)BEAUTY & WELLBEING BU

JOB PURPOSE
Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing Thailand is the beauty hub of Southeast Asia and home to well-loved brands such as Sunsilk, Dove, Tresemme, Clear, Pond's, Vaseline, and Citra.
Role modeling Purpose, Science, and Desire, we believe in Positive Beauty and Healthy Lifestyle across all our Beauty & Wellbeing brands.
Key winning priorities would be premiumization, making sharp choices on demand spaces, and strengthening digital and social influencer marketing & Beauty capabilities to grow in disruptive channels.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- The role directly partners with the Beauty & Wellbeing Thailand Lead and SEA Head of CS&P, Marketing Hair Care Lead, Marketing Skin Care Lead, B&W CS&P Lead, and B&W R&D Head of SEA and Thailand Site Lead.
- Drives for Capacity, Capability, Culture linked agenda for the Thailand and BU at large. This includes, but not limited to, Building Beauty Capabilities, Talent Management/Succession Planning, Organizational Design and Talent to Value, Leadership Development, Wellbeing, Engagement and Culture, Change Management, Employee Advocacy, and Conflict Resolution.
- Understands the broader Thailand market context, demographics, cultural nuances, beauty trends, and using organizational insights to improve business performance.
- Assesses the talent needs of the organization to design and deliver the most effective talent solutions.
- Works closely and collaboratively with BU HRBPs, People Partner, Talent Partners, HR Expertise teams and local HRBPs and HR Team.
KEY STAKEHOLDERS:
- Beauty & Wellbeing Thailand LT, BU Leadership team, HR Leads and HR Team across SEA.
- B&W SEA CSP Community, SEA B&W R&D Leadership team (Spanning across Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam).
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of HR Partnering (Marketing function or CD/R&D teams)
- Experience of working in Beauty/Personal care category would be an added advantage.
- Experience of partnering senior stakeholders, multicultural and multicountry teams.
- Experience of local employment norms and change management in Thailand and rest of Southeast Asia (Philippines, Vietnam).
- Experience of working in global or regional teams and in a new country/cultural context (networking, ways of working nuance, where to add distinctive value and understanding tension points).
- Experience of working with breadth of HR teams in countries (e.g. PEL, TA, IR/ER etc.)
- Trained on Agile Fundamentals and a practitioner of Agile (experience of how to get teams to get started, what works, what doesn't work) in an earlier role.
SKILLS & LEADERSHIP:
- Business acumen: deep understanding or willingness to truly learn what the business does, what are the key metrics to demonstrate value & impact.
- More human: High EQ to be able to establish connection, trust and respect from the teams partnered. Ability to energize moments worth celebrating and manage with utmost maturity the moments that need a professional, humane approach.
- Performance Coaching & Casting: ability to challenge, stretch and coach others, demonstrates strong EQ to become the objective and trusted partner of the teams/leadership/direct report you support, to drive superior performance. Builds deep knowledge of talent, their development needs and skilled in casting for a more nuanced Beauty world.
- Proven track record of successfully working in a complex, matrix organization.
- With mindset of experimentation, prioritization, simplification, and continuous improvement.
