Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role holds full responsibility for financial planning, accounting operations, credit management, and financial performance optimization. The position ensures strong financial governance, effective cash flow management, and alignment between financial strategy and overall business objectives through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities


Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to support company strategy and sustainable growth.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to align financial targets with business objectives.

Accounting & Financial Control

  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and fixed asset management.
  • Ensure accurate journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and period-end closing processes.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Deliver management reports, cost analysis, profitability reviews, and variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.

Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Direct annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
  • Monitor budget performance and drive cost control initiatives to enhance financial discipline.

Credit Control & Accounts Receivable Management

  • Lead customer credit management and AR collection strategy to ensure healthy cash flow.
  • Oversee monthly AR closing, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
  • Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers to mitigate financial risk.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection while continuously improving team efficiency and processes.
  • Develop operational strategies, manage team budgeting, and monitor overall team performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 5-10 years of direct experience in Accounting & Finance with expereince in AR collection and credit control working in the accounts receivable function and managerial reports related to AR.
  • Knowledge of Accounting & Finance Management, Accounts Receivable Management, Debt Collection, Credit Control and Risk Management.
  • Strong Leadership, Logical & Strategic Thinking and Problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proficient communication in business English with speaking and writing
  • Computer literacy, Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis tools is preferable
