Key responsibilities:

Controlling full function of WIP production staffs.
Oversee the efficient operations and inventory of the plant, outside storage facilities.
Responsible for materials assignment and ingredients preparation for production, following SAP process.
Maintain inventory accuracy based on FIFO.
Maintain complete discipline of production staffs and related with qualities system e.g. GMP, HACCP, BRC, SQMS, OHSAS14001 etc.
Assist in other department activities (such as quality, maintenance, safety) to reduce downtime, thus maximising productivity
Responsible for shift schedules, including work station assignments, rotations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, backup for absent employment, etc.
Responsible for training of new Production / WIP employees in proper methods and procedures in order to perform the job to a high level. Continue to develop and lead existing employees with ongoing training

Qualifications and skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or any related field.
Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a Supply Chain, Warehousing or Manufacturing environment.
Computer literate must have experience using MS Office, in particular MS Word and MS Excel
Previous experience working in Food Production Manufacturing is preferred
Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory management system is a distinct advantage
Able to work as shift
Strong leadership and relationship building skills in order to lead the staff successfully
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Strong technical, troubleshooting and analytical skills essential
Good interpersonal and communication skills
