About the role
Imagine playing a pivotal role in shaping the journey of new products from concept to customer. As our New Product Introduction (NPI) Projects Manager, you will be orchestrating complex projects with a diverse team, bringing innovation to life. Your responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the New Product Introduction process from inception to market launch, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Develop detailed project schedules and manage budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with the R & D, Operations, Sales, and Business Development teams.
- Preemptively identify challenges and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Champion productivity and continuous improvement, applying advanced analytics to sharpen our manufacturing processes.
The experience we're looking for
- Proven success in product development and adept project management, with a history of meeting deadlines and budgetary targets.
- Expertise in a variety of manufacturing and welding processes, including TIG, MIG, and automatic welding, along with familiarity with machine shop tooling and CNC operations.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in guiding cross-functional teams in a complex organisation.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Management and an appreciation for end-to-end product development cycles.
- Practised in communication and relationship management, capable of building partnerships across business units.
- Solid business understanding, able to navigate through the financial aspects of product development with ease.
