- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 14000, 45000, and 50001 standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze incident reports and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide safety training to employees on proper work practices, emergency procedures, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and improve processes.
- Monitor and track safety performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Participate in regulatory agency inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant standards.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain documentation related to safety policies, procedures, training records, and incident reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to safety and environmental management. The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in ISO 14000, 45000, and 50001 standards is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in safety management, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software is a plus. What's on Offer
