- To oversee the execution of the ORM P&P within DOC for support Branch & Operations, in a robust and efficient manner as to achieve sound risk management practices and reporting.
- To ensure that all units in Branch & Operations have a DCORO as deemed appropriate, formalize the appointment, set and evaluate the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), and provide appropriate training to the DCORO.
- To promote and support Business to ensure adherence with internal policies, procedures and processes. Also to ensure action plans are developed to address the risk and control issues.
- To act as the liaison with ORM and Compliance in relation to risk related matters.
- To be proactively identify areas with ineffective controls and work with the relevant stakeholders to enhance overall control environment to mitigate risk.
- To provide support and advice to the units in Branch & Operations in understanding and applying the legal and regulatory requirements.
- To provide on-going compliance awareness briefing / training to staff in Operations as required.
- To constructively engage with the second line of defence to achieve an optimal outcome of risk management and compliance for CIMB Thai.
