In order to support our team and strengthen the growth of our APAC business, we are looking for a:

Wealth Consulting Actuarial Analyst

We will count on you to:

Performs core pension valuation work (IAS19 / US GAAP) which includes flawless execution with respect to requesting, gathering, and reviewing client data for completeness, reconciling data and assets from previous valuations, and preparing summaries of data, assets, and benefits defined in the plan document.
Spearheads initiatives to develop inhouse corporate pension review platform using R and MercerInsight
Prepares and reviews detailed analysis of final funding and accounting results to be reviewed by a Signing Actuary and Retirement Consultant.
Reviews and validate annual client liabilities produced by Mercer's Retirement Studio System and other proprietary systems.
Undertakes general actuarial modeling, spreadsheet modelling and valuation calculations.
Coordinate with Global Actuary as needed to consolidate accounting valuation results

What you need to have:

Can demonstrate strong communication, analytical and technical skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to articulate complex and technical information, within parameters in a concise manner.
Selfinitiative and curiosity in financial services, selfmotivated to seek out knowledge, test ideas and ways to contribute to the team. Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with team members.
Personal management in order to plan for foreseeable tasks, and understand own capacity for unforeseeable tasks. Manage the schedule for routine jobs, and be able to provide estimates of the time required to complete your tasks for senior management reporting.
