OVERVIEW: 

• Location: Don Mueang International Airport 

• Department:    CEO's Office

• Entity: Thai AirAsia

• Status: Full-time

YOUR ROLE AS A SENIOR EXECUTIVE, INTERNAL AUDIT

In your role as a Senior Executive, Internal Audit, you will provide independent assurance to the board and audit committee by evaluating internal controls, risk management, and operational efficiency. You will identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and recommend strategic improvements to optimize company performance.

WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION:

• Lead audit engagements from start to finish—from conducting opening and exit meetings to ensuring all fieldwork is handled professionally.

• Oversee both Corporate and Station audits, including the review of audit programs, working papers, and the strategic allocation of resources.

• Summarize findings into clear, practical reports and present results effectively to management.

• Monitor and follow up on management action plans to ensure all outstanding issues are resolved on schedule.

• Assist in the preparation of Audit Committee (AC) meetings by developing presentation slides and high-level supporting materials.

• Build strong relationships with auditees and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and the successful implementation of corrective actions.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.

• At least 2–4 years of professional experience in internal audit, ideally within the airline industry.

• Strong mastery of risk-based auditing, internal controls, and governance frameworks; experience in station and operational audits is a major plus.

• Fluent in English and Thai (both speaking and writing).

• Proficient in using computer literacy in MS Office & G Suite.

• Proven ability to work independently and lead audit engagements from start to finish.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

• Familiarity with Audit Committee reporting will be an advantage.
