Position Summary:
The
Marketing Trainee (6 months internship) will be responsible for supporting the digital marketing operations, strategies and projects of the marketing team, and management of the SAPAC social media channels.
They will have the opportunity to embark on a 360° learning journey and become a part of the team behind SAPAC Marketing.
Areas for Learning & Responsibilities:
- ATHLETE SUPPORT
- Liaise with athletes, ambassadors, media and KOLs on campaigns
- Update athletes' competition & travel schedule
- PRODUCT SEEDING
- Support athlete product seeding planning for athletes, ambassadors, media and KOLs
- Seeding product management
- Create athlete product seeding guideline
- DATA & REPORTING SUPPORT
- Social listening reporting
- Media and content performance reporting
- Campaign recaps
- Athlete social monthly reporting
- EVENTS
- Support the activations (running, training, basketball and etc.)
- Liaise with agencies and organize products
- Event support, including event day show up, realtime content capture and other duties
- PARTNERSHIPS
- Liaise with partners like gyms and sports associations
What exposures will you gain by the end of internship?:
- Exposure to the foundation of marketing in a sport retail industry
- Ability to understand and gain handson experience to support marketing activations and campaigns
- How to communicate across a diverse organization with many different cultures, geographies, and preferences
Who are we looking for?:
- Has a strong interest in Marketing & Sports/Fitness
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
- A keen learner who is creative & detailoriented, resourceful & driven
- Understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency
- Able to work with a team/independently where needed
- Willing to listen, include, and respect the beliefs of teammates
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
