Acts as a liaison among business stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business products; processes and systems.

May also be a liaison to external customers. Collects, analyzes and synthesizes data to document requirements, and translates into detailed technology needs & formal specifications.

ensuring needs of stakeholders and business are met Reviews business and product needs, instructions, regulations, and laws for complex projects; implements these changes into software using intermediate level programming skills, testing, and providing support to customers as required.

Authors & communicates requirements documentation Depending on the nature of the project, undertakes a combination of project management, technical implementation, and testing analyst tasks.

Expected to have either a strong proprietary knowledge base or multiple years of previous experience in requirements analysis and authoring.

Takes on higher level business requirements & specifications


Responsibilities;- Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with customers.- Uses a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs.- Adheres to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and may recommend metrics.- Ensures that implementation follows the design.- Ensures change management and communication of change to team and/or client is done in a systematic way for complex projects- Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to the process.- Develops an in-depth awareness and understanding of multiple the company technologies, products, and services.

- Participates in short term planning sessions with a client to improve a business process


Knowledge & Skill:

  • Experienced professional with indepth knowledge of technical discipline or specialism
  • Strong understanding of other roles within the function or Business Unit and how they are connected
  • Knowledge of relationships between all relevant groups within the company
  • Adapts traditional approaches to solutions and applies in different circumstances
  • Demonstrates mastery of a specific discipline across a range of related issues

Scope of Impact:

  • Leads routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Provides input to department objectives and goals of a subBusiness Unit or function
  • May manage budgets for small projects or programs
  • Advises middle management on functional matters, or on interpretation of policies and practices
  • May train or mentor professional colleagues

Strategic Planning & Decision Making:

  • Makes recommendations that may shape operational strategy
  • Determines the nature of complex or undefined problems; independently identifies the best solution from many alternatives
  • Escalates higher risk or more unique problems
  • Decisions require interpretive thinking and some judgment in developing solutions
