- Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support P&L forecasting, budgeting, and other key strategic initiatives, providing insights for both short-term and long-term decisions.
- Reporting & Analysis: Conduct variance analysis comparing actual performance with forecasts and budgets, identifying trends to offer actionable insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to monitor initiatives and special projects related to cost drivers across teams, understanding their potential impact on expenses.
- Communication: Prepare and present reports to senior management on P&L forecasting, cost reduction initiatives, and other ad hoc projects within the FP&A function.
- Competitor Analysis: Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking to model and track competitor cost structures, extracting key insights to inform business strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the FP&A function, adopting best practices for efficiency.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, or related roles, with a focus on P&L management and financial monitoring in dynamic environments.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to think flexibly and solve complex problems, especially in "what-if" scenarios.
- Proficiency in advanced financial modeling using Excel/Google Sheets; experience with SQL, Google Data Studio, and data visualization tools like Python or R is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to present and discuss topics with senior management independently.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
