We are looking for a Data Science Manager to lead our data science team in developing cutting-edge models and analytical solutions that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and business growth in Bangkok, Thailand. This role will work closely across a number of internal teams including Account Management, Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing.

Role Overview:

As a Data Science Manager, you will spearhead our data science initiatives, focusing on predictive analytics, machine learning models, and data-driven strategies to predict accident rates, detect car theft, forecast demand, and develop comprehensive business health dashboards. Working on-site in Bangkok, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, operations, and customer service, to implement solutions that drive our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the data science team, providing guidance and mentorship to drive project execution and professional development.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of predictive models to assess the accident probability for each user, enhancing safety and risk management.
• Create advanced algorithms to detect car theft, leveraging real-time data and machine learning techniques to prevent losses and ensure vehicle security.
• Forecast carsharing demand using predictive analytics, identifying trends and insights to inform targeted marketing strategies and operational planning.
• Design and implement a comprehensive dashboard to monitor key business metrics, marketing effectiveness, demand dynamics, and team OKRs, enabling data-driven decision-making across the company.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and analytics, integrating innovative approaches and technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the data science team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data analysis tools: Python, MySQL, Google Data Studio
• Background in mobility business, process improvement, etc.
• Ability to visualize useful information to others.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Adept at solving problems that span business and technology
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis.
• Proficient in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and familiar with cloud computing platforms.
• Experience in developing solutions for accident prediction, theft detection, demand forecasting, and business intelligence dashboards is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
