Strategic Project Procurement Professional
Siemens Thailand has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skills Project Procurement Professional to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in project success by optimizing procurement processes, ensuring effective sourcing, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Your expertise will be crucial in shaping projects at an early stage, enhancing internal workflows, and fostering innovation through efficient procurement strategies.
You'll make a difference by:
- Participating in project/sales meetings as project core team member to exert a shaping influence at an early stage and to optimize internal workflows and processes.
- Establishing proper sourcing and Procurement processes and controls all Procurement resources and activities in the project.
- Analyzing customer inquiries during bid preparation / opportunity management phases and exactly understands the customer's functional needs in order to include (supplier) innovations.
- Supporting project calculation with reliable material cost data.
- Analyzing scope of supply and contract agreements, carries out risk analyses and introduces negotiation recommendations.
- Analyzing sales and operations planning in respect of starting / new projects, assessing and controlling of material costs within the whole project business in order to ensure the involvement of Procurement.
- Driving Procurement strategies in projects and ensures their implementation.
- Heads up contractual and price negotiations and/or supports the specialist buyers responsible for particular material fields.
- Clarifying internal indicators for project controlling and compiling all relevant information to submit qualified reports.
- Forwards systematically all relevant Procurement related project information.
Your success is grounded in:
- Bachelor's degree with 35 years of experience in Procurement
- Proficient in Excel, Word and outlook
- Good command both Thai and English
- Able to work independent, under pressure, and be a team player.
- Well organized, time management and attention to detail with multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, Flexible, positive attitude and change management mindset.
