POSITION SUMMARY

Baan Dek Foundation is currently looking for a Football Coach who will contribute to BDF's overall mission and provide specialized support. The main mission of the football coach is to assist in implementing and monitoring the Sport for Good project under the Child Development program. S4G  project focuses on character development and social inclusion that teaches disadvantaged children vital soft skills through sportsmanship. In this project, S4G will be implemented in 5 or 7 construction site camps, slums, and schools in Chiang Mai.

มูลนิธิบ้านเดคกำลังมองหาโค้ชฟุตบอลที่จะมีส่วนร่วมในภารกิจโดยรวมของมูลนิธิและให้การสนับสนุนเฉพาะด้าน ภารกิจหลักของโค้ชฟุตบอลคือการช่วยดำเนินการและติดตามโครงการกีฬาเพื่อสังคม (Sport for Good หรือ S4G) ภายใต้โครงการพัฒนาเด็ก โครงการ S4G มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะและส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคม โดยสอนทักษะด้านมนุษยสัมพันธ์ที่สำคัญแก่เด็กด้อยโอกาสผ่านการเล่นกีฬา ในโครงการนี้ S4G จะดำเนินการในแคมป์ก่อสร้าง สลัม และโรงเรียน 5 หรือ 7 แห่งในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่

Your Mission

Key responsibilities of the Football coach will entail but are not limited to the following: prepare training sequence, assessment, organize sport event, attend football matches

1. Implementation of S4G sessions: 

• co-lead evening S4G introduction sessions in construction site camps and slums;

• co-lead daytime weekend sports sessions in the local community center; and

• prepare training sequence, assessment, and sports materials required for S4G sessions with the support of BDF officers.

2. Football Coach Training and Follow-up:

• lead training on receiving and passing, basic footwork, shooting, and small-sided games and promote community engagement;

• advice BDF officers to prepare sports materials and space required for the training;

• organize sports day twice a year; 

• train youth peers on how to organize the practice in the community;

• raise  issues and concerns from the sessions  with the Program Manager; and

• help to assess the performance  at the end of the training module

3. Monitoring and Evaluation:

• recap the previous session;

• provide constructive feedback at the end of the sessions; and 

• promote inclusion in the community through sportsmanship 

• baseline-end line assessment of technical skills

4. General Program Support and Participation:

• Support BDF's field activities dedicated to fundamental childhood development and youth peer capacity building and

• Contribute to character and community building through field activity.

ระยะเวลา & ประเภทของสัญญา:    พาร์ทไทม์ (ผู้ให้บริการ)  - สำหรับ 6 เดือน หรือ 1 ปี (ขึ้นอยู่กับระยะเวลาของโครงการ)  

เวลาทำงาน: :00 - 18:30 หรือ 17:30 - 19: ชม./ครั้ง ) - สัปดาห์ละ 2 ครั้งหรือมากกว่านั้น

อัตราค่าจ้าง: บาท/ชั่วโมง (โดยรวม 600 บาท/ครั้ง)

สถานที่: เชียงใหม่, ประเทศไทย 

วันเริ่มงานที่คาดการ์ณ: ตามสัญญา

หน้าที่หลักของโค้ชฟุตบอลจะรวมถึงแต่ไม่จำกัดเพียงสิ่งต่อไปนี้: จัดเตรียมโปรแกรมฝึกซ้อม, การประเมินผล, จัดกิจกรรมกีฬาและเข้าร่วมชมการแข่งขันฟุตบอล

1. การดำเนินการจัดประชุม S4G: 

• ร่วมเป็นผู้นำในการจัดกิจกรรมแนะนำโครงการ S4G ในช่วงเย็น ณ แคมป์ก่อสร้างและชุมชนแออัด

• ร่วมเป็นผู้นำในการจัดกิจกรรมกีฬาช่วงกลางวันในวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ ณ ศูนย์ชุมชนท้องถิ่น

• เตรียมลำดับการฝึกอบรม การประเมินผล และอุปกรณ์กีฬาที่จำเป็นสำหรับกิจกรรม S4G โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากเจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิฯ

2. การฝึกอบรมของโค้ชฟุตบอลและติดตามผล:

• นำการฝึกอบรมกี่ยวกับการรับและส่งบอล การเคลื่อนไหวเท้าขั้นพื้นฐาน การยิงประตู และเกมขนาดเล็ก และส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน

• ให้คำแนะนำแก่เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิฯ  ในการเตรียมอุปกรณ์กีฬาและพื้นที่ที่จำเป็นสำหรับการฝึกอบรม

• จัดกิจกรรมกีฬาสีปีละสองครั้ง 

• ฝึกอบรมเพื่อนเยาวชนเกี่ยวกับวิธีการจัดการฝึกซ้อมในชุมชน

• แจ้งปัญหาและข้อกังวลจากช่วงการฝึกอบรมให้ผู้จัดการโครงการทราบ

• ช่วยประเมินผลการปฏิบัติงานเมื่อสิ้นสุดโมดูลการฝึกอบรม

3. การติดตามและประเมินผล:

• ทบทวนเนื้อหาในหัวข้อที่ผ่านมา

• ให้ข้อเสนอแนะเชิงสร้างสรรค์เมื่อสิ้นสุดแต่ละหัวข้อ 

• ส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในชุมชนผ่านน้ำใจนักกีฬา 

• ส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในชุมชนผ่านน้ำใจนักกีฬา

4. การสนับสนุนและการมีส่วนร่วมในโครงการโดยทั่วไป:

• สนับสนุนกิจกรรมภาคสนามของมูลนิธิฯ  ที่มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาพื้นฐานเด็กและการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพเยาวชนร่วมกัน

• มีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างเสริมคุณธรรมและชุมชนผ่านกิจกรรมภาคสนาม 

Your Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

Nationality: Thai nationality

Language requirements: Thai

Education/ Experience:  

●       Studies: Football coach, Physical education studies, Professional training, and University students are all welcome.

●       Professional experience in Football (especially with kids)

Other skills and competencies:

• Leadership experience: Demonstrated ability to manage kids of various age groups 

• Well knowledge of football training materials

• Provide structured feedback 

• Able to work independently when needed and within a team

About Baan Dek Foundation

Baan Dek Foundation is a dynamic non-profit dedicated to empowering marginalized children and families living in urban poverty, particularly in construction camps across Thailand. 

The Thai construction sector employs approximately 700,000 migrants out of which 40% are women. BDF and UNICEF's evidence-based study states around 60,000 children live with parents in construction site camps with slum-like conditions. These children and their parents face critical challenges in accessing essential services such as education, healthcare and child protection.

To address this challenge, BDF supports children and their parent's immediate needs (access to healthcare, education, and child protection services), empowers their communities through a peer-to-peer approach (training for youth, adults, and women) and creates systemic change in the Thai construction sector through the Building Social Impact Initiative.

Baan Dek also powers a spin-off social enterprise: Dao Ethical Gifts, which empowers vulnerable women in Thailand.
