    Position: Customs Specialist (Road Logistics)

    Contract Term: 1 Year Contract (Renewable) ** Under Vinarco

    Benefits: Bonus, Incentive, Provident fund, Group Health Insurance + Dental

    Working: 5 Days/Week (Monday - Friday),

    Location: Phetchaburi Road, Bangkok

    Start Date: ASAP

    Responsibilities:
    A Customs Specialist (Road Logistics) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across borders via road transport.

    • Prepare and submit accurate and complete customs declarations for import and export shipments.
    • Classify goods according to the appropriate customs tariff codes.
    • Calculate duties, taxes, and other fees associated with international trade.
    • Liaise with customs authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and expedite clearance processes.
    • Manage and resolve customs audits and inquiries.
    • Maintain comprehensive records of all customs documentation for each shipment.
    • Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certificates are obtained for specific goods.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams (sales, operations) and external stakeholders (carriers, customs brokers, clients) regarding shipment status and customs requirements.
    • Provide guidance and support on customs regulations and procedures.
    • Understand the specific requirements and complexities of road freight movement, including border crossings and transit procedures.
    • Stay informed about updates to customs regulations and trade agreements impacting road logistics.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Customs Clearance, specifically in Road Logistics.
    • Proven ability to classify goods accurately according to customs tariff codes.
    • Strong understanding of import and export regulations and procedures.
    • Experience in preparing and submitting customs declarations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customs clearance software (a plus).
    • A valid driver's license may be required (depending on company policy).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and regulations.
