Shift Technician - Thailand - Lotus

To support our new factory in Chonburi, Thailand, we're looking for passionate and skilled Mechanical and Electrical Technicians. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining our machines and installations, troubleshooting issues, executing maintenance plans, and driving technical improvements. Maintenance and Problem Solving:

• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Perform hands-on machine troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Schedule and coordinate work orders to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and collaborate with suppliers.

Changeovers of Machinery:

• Collaborate with operators and technicians for machinery changeovers.
• Follow strict procedures to minimize setup time and inspect final products.

Projects and New Installations:

• Participate in the installation, testing, and validation of new equipment.
• Assist third-party contractors and ensure quality checks on completed jobs.

Continuous Improvement:

• Propose improvements for equipment efficiency and reduced changeover times.
• Contribute to achieving maintenance KPIs and implementing safety and quality upgrades.

Quality & Food Safety:

• Manage calibrations and inspections for HACCP compliance.
• Report unsafe situations and ensure the safe use of machines.
• Maintain cleanliness in technical rooms and adhere to necessary Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and safety rules & standards.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have the following:

• A proactive attitude toward continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Technical education in Mechanics, Electricity, Pneumatics, or Automation (preferred).
• A minimum of a High School Diploma is required
• Fluency in Thai and basic knowledge of English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems (Siemens or Allen Bradley).
• Experience in field technical roles, RCA, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, planning, scheduling, or supervisory roles (advantageous).
• Background in food processing or production equipment maintenance.
• Excellent technical knowledge and analytical skills.
• Strong hands-on problem-solving abilities with a focus on production.
• Ability to work independently and organize work effectively.
• Strong communication skills, goal-oriented, and empathetic.
• A team player who contributes positively to collaborative efforts.
