- Define a competitive advantage for your category in line with the Product Line strategy and build a robust 5-year roadmap
- Identify opportunities based on the market sizing for the category across each market
- Identify and deliver consumer insights for the category working with Marketing & Markets
- Develop strong propositions with unique selling points based on consumer insights to drive market share growth
- Build a model catalogue for the category
- Lead the product development steps along with project managers
- Manage sourcing initiatives with global sourcing team to identify & develop better strategic suppliers (when required)
- Lead the delivery of commercial results for the category
- Ensure the readiness of the commercial launch in collaboration with Design, R&D, Marketing and CAs Product Line teams
- Define VPM (Volume, Price, Mix) strategy and look for business insights to improve further

All about the role:
Leading the category business unit in profitable growth together with the category director by creating outstanding consumer experiences.
The job holder contributes to building the category strategy and is responsible for its execution by identifying consumer and customer needs, leading the development of the long-term category roadmap, prioritizing projects and driving the entire product development process with a multi-functional team.
The Category Manager is the first point of call for Commercial Area (CA) teams for all matters relating to the category and drives business performance in the category.

What you'll do:
In this role, you will be part of the Taste Product Line Team for APAC & MEA Markets and you will work closely with Commercial Area teams across 19 countries (APAC & MEA). Your main stakeholders will be Product Lines, Sales, Marketing teams and also our factories & suppliers.
Key Measurement of Success
This is the P&L owner of the category. Success will be measured in terms of Net Sales, Margin, EBIT & Consumer Ratings.
