- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and address audit-related issues.
- Coordinate with tax authorities and regulatory agencies on all relevant matters.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, semi-annual budgets, and various management and analytical reports.
- Participate in regular virtual meetings with the Finance Manager at the Singapore headquarters to provide updates and financial reporting.
- Monitor and manage cash flow; prepare cash flow forecasts and report on cash and bank balances.
- Handle all banking-related matters, including negotiations and relationship management.
- Ensure adherence to the company's internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain timely submission of financial reports to headquarters in accordance with reporting deadlines.
- Lead and supervise a small team of accounting staff.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, including AP, AR, GL, and intercompany transactions.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Proven ability to manage cash flow and banking operations.
- Experience in handling external and internal audits.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially in working with regional or international teams.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
