Our client is a global manufacturer of custom assemblies and components products.

Responsibilities:

Participating in New Production Introduction (NPI) activities.
Being responsible for Cost Modelling for new parts RFQ.
Being responsible for tooling and process design.
Approving BOM and process flow for new parts in the BOM System.
Driving production by reducing/eliminating equipment and tooling downtime using good analytical methodologies.
Creating and maintaining process flow, PFMEA, and Operation, and Maintenance documentation.
Minimizing manpower cost and product cost standards by utilizing good assembly methodologies and ergonomics.
Supporting and maintaining errorproofing methodologies.
Supporting facility and production cell enhancements
Creating layout of machinery, and equipment within factory premises
Planning and scheduling production capacity to meet output and achieve efficiency.
Supporting and developing department or maintenance projects/activities with good engineering direction.
Handling part or facilitating the production of Lean strategies and methodologies and Six sigma activities.
Facilitating continuous improvement for all processes.
Supporting, cost estimates and documents for engineering changes
Initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to production, or processes and systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Engineering Background.
Has 5 years or more experience leading and managing engineering/production teams.
Familiar with stamping equipment and the diecutting industry.
Familiar with diecut tooling design.
Familiar with production standards and technical requirements in the diecut industry.
Have a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
