- Have good knowledge in electrical systems or mechanical systems
- Oversee installation work according to quality management system standards, both in electrical work and other systems (air conditioning, sanitation, and fire suppression)
- Control the operation of various system foremen
- Control the work of subcontractors and report to project engineers
- Can assess job designs, estimate material quantities, estimate system job prices, estimate project duration from start to finish
- Assess team potential, record actual work and materials used, compare with budget, and control budgets per department
- Clear shop drawings, check designs with actual work
- Understand the job scope, able to test job commissioning
- Coordinate with other subcontractors as necessary and coordinate within other departments
- Prepare documents for approval and disbursement
