    About the Role

    Join our team as an Investment Specialist, a pivotal role focused on delivering timely market insights and practical investment advice. Your primary focus will be on mutual funds and fixed income products. You will work closely with our relationship managers to advise both high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients, directly contributing to our sales and investment success. A key part of your responsibilities will also include conducting thorough due diligence on investment products to maintain in-depth product expertise.


    Key Responsibilities

    Client & Communication Focus (Approx. 40% of Time)

    • Market Communication: Proactively share timely market updates, investment opportunities, and customized solutions with prospects, clients, and relationship managers through clear written and verbal channels.
    • Advisory Partnership: Function as a client-facing investment consultant, collaborating closely with relationship managers to efficiently address all product- and investment-related inquiries.
    • Solution Development: Design and present tailored investment solutions, including the preparation of high-quality presentation decks and necessary supporting materials.

    Investment Product Expertise (Approx. 40% of Time)

    • Deep Product Knowledge: Cultivate and maintain strong expertise across our entire investment product lineup, demonstrating a solid mastery of asset management principles, financial markets, portfolio construction, and performance analysis.
    • Product Due Diligence: Execute rigorous due diligence on investment products, specifically mutual funds and fixed income, and monitor developments from fund houses to inform the product selection process.
    • Team Contribution: Actively contribute to investment team discussions by sharing innovative ideas, research findings, and identified market opportunities.

    Operational Support & Collaboration (Approx. 20% of Time)

    • Reporting & Data Management: Manage and maintain data systems to produce various regular reports essential for supporting team activities.
    • Business Development: Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic business and product development initiatives.
    • Ad-hoc Support: Provide support for ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in wealth management, investment consulting, product strategy, or fund management.
    • Robust understanding of investment products, core investment principles, and financial markets.
    • Demonstrated genuine interest in investments, coupled with the confidence and ability to engage directly with clients.
    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both interpersonal and written.
    • A motivated, adaptable, and highly collaborative team player.
    • Comfortable operating in a professional setting using English.
    • Bonus Qualifications: CFA charterholder (or active progress toward the CFA designation); practical experience with tools such as Bloomberg Terminal or Morningstar Direct.
