Job Description:
About the Role: Cosmax Thailand is seeking a proactive and "Active" Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and act as a strategic bridge between our Thailand site and our Global HQ in Korea. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure the highest standards of financial integrity and support the business with data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Prepare consolidation packages and ensure compliance with IFRS and NPAEs for HQ reporting.
- Taxation: Oversee all tax-related matters, including CIT, VAT, WHT (PND 3, 53, 54, PP 30, 36) and half-year tax (PND 51). Handle tax audits and coordinate with the Revenue Department.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Partner with the CFO in preparing annual budgets, 3-year plans (3YP), and periodic forecasts. Perform variance analysis to track business performance.
- Internal Control: Maintain and improve internal control systems to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and group policies.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
- Special Projects: Support ERP (SAP/HANA) implementation or process automation initiatives as assigned by the CFO.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPD License is required.
- Experience: At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in Accounting & Finance. Experience in Manufacturing or Big 4 Audit is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, Thai Tax Laws, and financial consolidation.
- Language: Excellent command of English (Spoken and Written) for professional reporting to Expat management.
- Mindset: "Active" personality—proactive, adaptable to change, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced global environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/HANA, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
