IFF is seeking for a highly dedicated individual to join our team as an Associate Designer. This position is based in Thailand and will report to Senior Designer - Team Leader Beverage.
Your Focus
As Associate Designer, you will support Senior Designer - Team Leader Beverage in daily evaluation and maintenance the flavor bank collection. You are equipped with capability and understanding apart from marketing, consumer insight knowledge or technical experience in flavors in beverage, dairy and bakery.
In the Associate Designer role, you will learn to handle reactive projects and how to communicate and drive strategy by partnering with key internal customers and stakeholders, as well as support the implementation of the prototype creation in multiple local or regional commercial projects.
How You Will Contribute
• Take care of flavor bank collection for beverage, dairy and bakery, bars & confectionery category.
• Manage tasting session, build up and update new collection, cooperate with flavorist for some modification.
• Manage stock of bank collection to make sure that they are available to support project's briefs.
• Handle reactive project from distributor and some customer.
• Provide flavor recommendation and create prototype for submission according to the briefs.
• Support as a team member in some major project /customer's innovation day.
• Manage stock of ingredients and lab supplies.
Job Requirements
What you will need to be successful
• Bachelor's degree in food science, Food Technology, or related technical fields.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in application lab, research and development, or related areas preferred technical competencies.
• Strong knowledge of product development, design of experiments and functionality of raw materials.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, good hands-on skills, fast actions and enable to work under pressure.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-functional and multicultural environment.
