    Hiring Position: Accounting Associate

    Working Condition: Hybrid

    Location: Bangkok, Thailand (BTS Accessible)

    Context:

    Our client is a new leader teamed up with global funding in FinTech in the SEA market. They are looking for an engineer to develop the next-generation technologies that change how the world of e-checkout.

    Position: Accounting Associate - Leading Tech Company

    Our client is seeking an Accounting Associate to manage the company's general accounting and financial processes. You'll be responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including preparing tax documents and updating expense files. You will perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger, with strong attention to detail. You will also carry out relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to clients via email and handling invoices). Ultimately, you will ensure the company's finances run smoothly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as key contact of internal accountant
    • Prepare and handover all necessary documents for record in our accounting system on a regular basis (invoices, withholding tax documents, and other relevant documents)
    • Daily and monthly records of accounting transactions
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
    • Prepare monthly tax submission
    • Manage cash in-out flows process to make sure everything is smooth and correct
    • Report to the Finance & Accounting lead and work to improve accounting processes

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • 1-2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or other relevant role in accounting
    • Strong knowledge of accounting methods, fundamental tax law, and practice
    • Good command of English (both, oral and written)
    • Excellent use of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
    • Flexible, positive attitude, service-minded, team player
    • Professional manner and good ethical code
    • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    It's great if you have:

    • Worked at an early-stage startup or a startup-like project in a larger company
    • Involved in tax filing preparation and submission process
