Key responsibilities:


  • To manage, control and lead production activities through supervisors to achieve timely production of quality products per FNDT applicable quality standards, at the most economical costs and to ensure optimum operations regarding production planning, material management (both direct material & indirect material) and factory warehouse to be in line with F&N Dairies standards, requirements and policies.
  • To control and monitor KPI Master schedule attainment, DPSA, factory service level, supplier performance, Stock coverage, Working capital, downtime related to supply shortage, concerned factory KPI dashboard.
  • Lead in setting operations objectives in line with corporate target and cascade to them into departmental objective, then sectional and individual objectives. Monitor and control performance of the operations via KPIs and routine reports to ensure all targets and objectives are best met.
  • Keep operations at an economical and efficient level by monitoring and administrating the production budget and cost control systems as well as keeping efficiency rates of manpower, materials and machines within prescribed standards to minimize production losses and to ensure lowcost operations.
  • Effectively manage the manufacturing through strict implementation of existing and new Standard Procedure Instruction (SPI), Laboratory Instruction (LI), Manufacturing Instruction (MI), and Good Manufacturing in Practice (GMP).
  • Ensure cooperation for the establishment of regulation applicable standards such as Food Safety Management system, GMP, HACCP ,Quality System as Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS), and related ISO standards; make sure that all systems are functioning once established.
  • Enhance production to be aware of hygiene, 5S, Safety, suggestion system, small group activity, environment concepts and implementation.
  • Ensure production quality meets the compliance with local foods, environmental and safety laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Communicate updated information on events, complaints, etc. in responsibilities to the teams.
  • Recommend, expedite, and follow up to ensure successful execution of new procedures or new operations implementation relative to line expansion, line modification etc.
  • Plan and propose annual budget related to production. Collaborate with other management personnel in the preparation of factory CAPEX to be in line with the sales volume.
  • Cooperate with QA, Engineering, and other departments to work together as a team in order to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Strategically plan and ensure the readiness of production resources (e.g. manpower, equipment, materials etc.) in compliance with requirements of the Supply Chain Management
  • Develop and maintain an effective organization through selection, training, development, compensation, and motivation of assigned personnel. Conduct merit review on a timely basis. Discipline employees in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • Meet and agree with corporate supply planning and demand planning on capacity and material availabilities to generate the production plan. Attending meetings such as DOR, WOR, MOR or MPSC to keep updated on production planning information to adjust the plan, as needed.
  • Monitor the Master Schedule Attainment KPI (MSA) to ensure that the production plan is in line with the agreed Master Production Schedule (MPS); collaborate with related parties, such as Engineering, Production and QA, in setting up the action plan in case of deviation.
  • Analyze and set the action plan to control the stock cover of raw and packaging materials.
  • Analyze and set the action plan to control resources material usage and price variance to be lowest production cost.
  • Be able to provide proactive advice/solution and feedback to the Material Management team that is in line with F&N standards and Purchasing policies. Inform or advise Corporate Purchasing in factory procurement issues e.g. sourcing, cost saving, indirect materials, supplier performance, etc.
  • Collaborate with Quality Management and Corporate Purchasing in supplier assessment to meet F&N specification requirements.
  • Coordinate with W/H operations concerning material handling, including pallets and documentation (e.g. receiving, issuing, dispatching, maximizing the utilizations of warehouse space and facilities), to ensure the good factory service level e.g. delivery attainment.
  • Monitor reports on slow moving, stock age, obsolete and rejected materials stock to minimize loss and inventory costs.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in food science/Food Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 810 years working experience in food/beverage manufacturing.
