Ensure that safety rules, regulations and Essilor guidelines are respected, in particular LOTO procedures during process activities

Have to understand and comply with the company procedures, policies, standard as well as relevant company certification (ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO13485 and PSM), including participating in the Risk Opportunity Assessment when needed

1. Respect of Process Control Plans (PCP)

2. Ensure PCP and follow up and respect

3. Identify deviations to PCP, issue yellow or red cards depending on resolution status

4. Ensure to solve the gaps to PCPs

5. Propose PCP changes for process improvements

6. Improvement

7. For each process, identify areas of improvement based on customer returns, production performance or process capability

8. Update PCP for each improvement

9. Projects and New Products

10. Ensure new product and new project are on time of launching

11. Validate new equipment before putting in production

12. Validate New Products before putting in production, following validation plans defined with Quality

13. Problem resolution

14. Participate to problem resolution (customer complaint or production issue)

15. Propose short term and long-term solutions linked with process improvement

16. Liaise with techno clubs and GE to share problems and get support when needed

17. Techno club

18. Participate to techno club sessions and share progress on KPIs and actions

19. Identify good ideas from other parties (GE/ other labs/ ME), and implement in the lab

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any related
• Good working knowledge of English (read, write, speak with ease)
• With professional qualifications (licensed engineer or equivalent)
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen
• Technical knowledge on : Statistical Process Control, Financial Analysis
• Proficient in MS Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
