- Establish architecture framework for how we continuously ensure harmonization and rationalization of our Manufacturing application and technology landscape
- Co-drive the development of application roadmaps and ensure that a holistic cross value-chain perspective is applied to the roadmaps
- Be at the forefront of evolving technology and digital solutions and ensure buy-in on how to apply the solutions deemed relevant for Pandora Manufacturing
- Challenge current thinking on how we operate and enable our value chain with technology solutions to seek further optimization opportunities as well as potential new business opportunities
- 10+ years of professional Enterprise and Solution Architecture experience designing and supporting mission critical Tier 1 services.
- Strong experience in enterprise IT management, technology consulting, advisory or professional services
- Knowledge of all aspects of IT architecture and proven abilities to manage large scale solutions design and implementation work
- Understanding of application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and SaaS / cloud-based systems
- Good understanding of the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
- Track record of architecting and solving complex engineering problems at scale with outstanding business and technology results
- Experienced with developing high-performance micro services and applications with enterprise grade security
- Experience working directly with engineering teams in an agile software development environment
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences and influence outside technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver with quality in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Creative thinking and problem-solving in the face of ambiguity with limited resources and real-world constraints, and the ability to identify the root cause of complex problems.
- DevOps experience with track record of improving time to recovery and mitigating failures
- Highly experienced with various CI/CD process and tools GitLab, Containerization technologies
- Highly experienced with mentoring and coaching engineers
- Highly experienced with either AWS or Azure and some experience with one other cloud platform
- Omni-channel experience would be desirable
- Manufacturing experience would be desirable
- Professional Architecture certification like The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Certified Enterprise Architect Professional (CEAP) would be an advantage

Main purpose of the role:
This role supports PANDORA's strategic aspiration to be the leading direct-to-consumer brand using digital to create intimacy at scale for our consumers & shoppers. To reach this goal, we need a world class technology that optimizes PANDORA ́s business service delivery through automation and process simplification. This role is a strategic member of the engineering leadership organization that establishes engineering standards, directs technology decisions and develops engineering talent. As principal engineer (EA) you will partner closely with other senior engineers, executives, product management across the enterprise to solve complex problems and deliver mission critical services that work at scale across the globe. A principal engineer is a technology leader in all aspects of their role and leads by example with designing and operating our manufacturing technology services.
