- Monitors law and regulation those might be applicable to company's business and ensure the compliance of company under those law and regulations, e.g. SEC, BOT regulations, etc.
- Develops, implements, and certifies compliance policies, procedures, and practices
- Provides compliance advice, investigates complaints and verifies deficiencies are corrected
- Advising on maintaining the AML/CTF framework
- Provide advisory and reporting to the entity management and CEO/Executive Committee on compliance matters and risks
- Offer advisory and support to the the company's business units on compliance matters
- Acts as the primary contact and person-in-charge for the groups regulatory reporting and regulatory information requests
- Monitor cryptocurrency related global regulatory reporting processes
- Maintains expert knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations and license conditions pertaining to regulatory reporting
- Continuously monitors and updates global policies and processes to comply with changes in regulatory reporting requirements; and
- Works across key internal functions to ensure consistency, transparency and efficiency around regulatory reporting and communications
- Develop relationships with relevant regulatory authorities
- Support the company risk management framework in testing/monitoring/reporting and oversee remediation progress of compliance issues
- Provide legal support to businesses, conduct contract negotiation and review activities
- Ensure the adequate implementation of the Group Compliance policies in the entity
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Economics or Risk Management
- Master's degree in Law is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7-8 years of work experience in compliance or risk functions in the financial services industry, i.e. bank, insurance or fintech.
- Strong connection with relevant regulatory authorities, i.e., Bank of Thailand, SEC, AMLO, etc.
- Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency market is highly preferred.
- Effective monitoring and reporting skills
- Ability to manage complex situations and meet deadlines
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and executives
- Sound judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Fluent in English
