Job Description

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather detailed technical, infrastructure and business requirements.
• Conduct meetings, workshops, and technical discussions to understand client environments, constraints, and objectives.

Systems Analysis and Design:

• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement through technology.
• Analyze existing IT infrastructure and identify opportunities for optimization, modernization, or cloud adoption.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure and cloud architectures.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams (HLD/LLD), and system documentation.
• Perform sizing, capacity planning, and solution validation.

Solution Development:

• Implement and configure infrastructure solutions including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup, monitoring tools and related systems.
• Deploy and manage cloud environments (Public / Private / Hybrid Cloud).
• Integrate on-premise systems with cloud platforms.
• Conduct feasibility studies and propose cost-effective and technically sound solutions.
• Work closely with project managers, software engineers, and security teams to ensure successful implementation.

Implementation and Testing:

• Coordinate and perform system testing, including integration testing and user acceptance support (UAT).
• Plan and execute system migration (Data Center / Cloud Migration).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure on-premise and on-cloud related issues.
• Ensure smooth deployment and handover to operations or support teams.
• Assist in the deployment of new systems and ensure successful implementation.

Client Support and Training:

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for implemented systems.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the IT team to ensure effective communication and satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design documents, configuration guides, and as-built documentation.
• Prepare reports on project status, system performance, technical findings, and other key metrics.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes to enhance system performance, scalability, security, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical capability development.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
1-5 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role within an IT Professional Services environment.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of server systems (Windows / Linux).
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, OLVM or similar).
• Understanding of storage, backup, disaster recovery (DR), and high availability concepts.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLAN, L2-L3 Layer Firewall fundamentals).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Huawei or GCP).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, SolarWinds, Zabbix) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is an advantage.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, RHCSA, AWS, VMware, CCNA, CCNP, Nutanix) are a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and directly with clients.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
• Native Thai speaker with good English proficiency is MANDATORY.
